The long awaited “Sedges, Rushes and Restiads” book by Sonia MacDonald and Stephanie Haslam was launched at the Noosa Integrated Catchment Association Inc. (NICA) office in Doonella House on Monday 20-3-2017. It is a companion volume to their previous book “Grasses of the Noosa Biosphere and Surrounding Regions” which is now in its second edition. Congratulations to authors who have given their time freely to produce another much needed botanical resource. Thanks to Phil Moran from Noosa and District Landcare for launching the book in such great style and thanks to Campbell Corfe for representing the Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation who provided a grant to help with publishing costs.
