African Tulip Tree
- Common names: African tulip, Fireball, Flame of the forest , Flame tree , Fountain tree
- Scientific name: Spathodea campanulata
- Native to: Tropical West Africa
- Habit: Tree growing up to 24m.
- Leaves: Large compound leaves with up to 17 leaflets.
- Flowers: Large showy orange flowers.
- Control measures: Refer to DAF guidelines in link below. Tree grows from seeds but also cuttings.
