On 28th June,14 NICA members braved the cold (for Noosa) and windy weather and spent another morning removing weeds on the sand island at the mouth of the river.

This time we collected 6 large bags of the usual suspects including cobblers pegs, corky passion vine, sea rocket, asparagus and a few gloriosa.

This is the 11th year we have been travelling to the island, but we think the end is in site.  Thanks to Noosa Council for their ongoing support of this project.
