Volunteering Opportunities at NICA Protection of the natural environment to achieve a sustainable future for the Noosa River and surrounding Biosphere environment.

Saturday 11^th May from 7.30am at Thomas Street Boat Ramp. A group of divers are heading out to do an underwater cleanup (as part of Clean up Aust Day postponed due to conditions). Anyone interested in taking to the water in your boat or kayak or walking along the shoreline and helping with the clean up please meet at the boatramp.
Sunday 2^nd June is World Environment Day at Cotton Tree Park. NICA will have a stall is looking for any volunteers who can spare an hour to help out.
Sunday 30^th June Noosa Festival of Water at Cooroy’s Botanical Gardens. NICA will have a stall and is looking for any volunteers who can spare an hour to help out.
Bushland Care Groups. Girraween, Weyba and Noosa Bush Beach and Creek Care groups have regular working bees. Contact us for further information.
NICA’s River Rangers are out an about on the river regularly please let us know if you would like to be included in the roster of volunteers ( you need to be a financial member of NICA to participate for insurance cover)
