NICA is pleased to announce in June 2017 that 2 bushland care groups it supports have been successful in obtaining funding from the State Government under its Community Sustainability Action grant program. Noosa Bushland Beach & Creek Care has received a grant for stage one of the rehabilitation of ‘Cooloosa wetland’ which is situated between Cooloosa Street and Heathland Drive. Heritage Park Bushland Care group obtained a grant to continue removal of Singapore Daisy in the park, in an area to the east of the entrance at Billabong Way.
