NICA is pleased to announce it is partnering with Tourism Noosa on their innovative “Tread Lightly” program to encourage visitors to our Catchment to actively participate in its conservation through volunteering opportunities and to learn from NICA’s volunteer field experts. NICA intends to initially offer volunteering experiences tailored at our threatened shorebird awareness and oyster ecosystem restoration initiatives but intend to expand on those experiences in time.
