Ellie Sherrard Smith
This month there has been an addition to our NICA Committee and some changes to the members of NICA’s Noosa River Catchment Fund.
NICA is pleased to welcome Ellie Sherrard-Smith as our newest committee member. ‘Ellie is an ecologist and data analyst by training but works on infectious disease transmission now focusing mostly on malaria. Her ecological ethic is kicking in, so she wants to contribute a little more to local efforts and NICA was kind enough to take her in. Her favourite hobby currently is guerilla gardening her shared space (with permissions from neighbours of course)!’
There have been some changes to the members of NICA’s Noosa River Catchment Fund Committee. We thank Tony Haslam and Bruce Hallett who have stepped down and welcome Phil Moran (continuing), Dr Jan Green and John Martin. Some of you will know Jan who is on the NICA Committee and John Martin who is a long term NICA volunteer.
