At the first Monday with NICA for 2020 we look forward to hearing from Joel Fostin on his research on Pandanus Dieback.  Pandanus dieback is causing the greatest loss and ongoing threat to the biodiversity and preservation of coastal ecosystems of eastern Queensland, with threats and losses paralleled only by fire in the coastal zone.  Coastal ecosystem and Pandanus dieback specialist, Joel Fostin, has secured funding through Noosa Council Community Grants, auspiced by Peregian Beach community Association. He will share and discuss insights gained through years of dedicated research, surveys and mitigation work across eastern Queensland, and collaborations with numerous industry professionals.  As well as  fascinating and important ecological and management insights.
