For the 'Tread Lightly' event no. 5 two large pontoon boatloads of enthusiastic photographers had a perfect morning for an outing at the Noosa River Estuary to learn about the shorebirds and take photographs.

This is a fantastic example of what a bushland group can do. Noosa Bush Beach and Creek Care took on this project at the northern end of Sunshine Beach. Check out the before and after photo.

As part of the recent Wildflower Festival 18 people to enjoyed a walk admiring the wildflowers and learning about the fight to save Marcus Beach high dunes in the 1990s. 

Volunteers needed to help with a cleanup at Double Island Point scheduled for October 10–12.

NICA was at Tewantin State School during August, the Year 4's thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Sustainability Expo.
