Due to heavy rainfall there was high turbidity throughout the river again during May, but it had returned to more usual levels by the end of June.
Noosa Estuary Shorebird Survey
A quick roundup of what went on the latest shorebird count at the Noosa Estuary. It was a typical winter count, with low bird numbers. My feeling is that there were lower than usual numbers.

Finally we had perfect weather for the launching of Friends of Kinaba's new boat, Jabiru.
