In partnership with OzFish Unlimited (Noosa), NICA is pleased to announce the launch of our newest initiative entitled "A Line in the Sand".

Girraween bushland group have had to replace plants taken from a Noosa Heads bushland regeneration site recently.

Here is a summary of our Waterwatch activities for May and June. It's good to see the river water starting to get a bit clearer following less rain, though it would be nice to lose some of the fine silt that is everywhere.

Pelican 1 (NICA boat) was back on the water today following recent engine repairs. Ran well for its age, spritely and swift. New front seat arrangement, sturdy and comfortable. Little water in bilge despite extended lay-up.

This is the 11th year we have been travelling to the island, but we think the end is in sight.
