This report notes increases in water temperatures, decreases in dissolved oxygen and decreases in turbidity in the Noosa Catchment in 2024.
NICA welcomes ‘Osprey’
At NICA's boat launch members of NICA celebrated the much-anticipated new boat 'Osprey', it has enhanced safety features and stability for volunteers.
A Great Result for the Cleanup
Despite the the looming threat of Tropical Cyclone Alfred which delivered windy and showery weather, our fearless volunteers collectively filled an estimated 50 bags of rubbish. Additionally, heavy and bulky items such as mattresses, wooden pallets, kayaks, bicycles and car tyres were found and hauled out.
Volunteers Needed

Let’s Clean Up Noosa 2025
Clean-Up Australia Day is Sunday 2nd March this year and once again the whole of the Noosa community is encouraged to help remove any litter and rubbish from our parks and streets, waterways, wetlands and along the foreshores and beaches of our beautiful region.
