Do you have a flair for local publicity? Our Working Group needs a dedicated Publicity Officer to coordinate monthly press releases to local newspapers, magazines, radio stations, etc. Once the distribution addresses are set up, it would only require several paragraphs and one or two photos each time.
We already have an active Facebook presence.
The purpose of the press release is publicising our workshops and spreading the UWG message of promoting LOCAL native plants in urban gardens. We need to let the community know our programme is out there and available if they need assistance.
