Noosa’s natural areas of bushland have got a boost from two Community Sustainability Action Grants (CSAG) from the Queensland Government, for projects supported by the Noosa Integrated Catchment Association (NICA) and linked to Noosa Council’s Bushland Care Program. NICA’s Girraween Bushcare Group will receive $27,700 over 3 years for Girraween Nature Refuge and Noosa Bushland Beach and Creek Care Group will receive $25,000 over 3 years for Cooloosa Urban Wetland at Sunshine Beach.
