The Eastern Bushcare Collaborative’s bushland regeneration project on the eastern seaboard of Noosa is making great progress.   Here is an update from Group A at Peregian.  This project supported by Noosa Council Multi-Year Environment Collaborative grant.

Jono & his team enjoyed this day’s work linking one area they’d just rehabilitated on previous workday into an area of ephemeral wetlands which is still recovering from filling during the summer rains.  So there was a load of herbaceous weeds throughout the area as well as some agricultural grasses to be removed before they were through to  a previously rehabilitated patch.

Here’s a couple of photos Jono’s team making a difference in the thick asparagus understorey! And a gorgeous little cascade frog captured on  gloriosa vegetation.
