Around 400 volunteers turned Sunday March 3rd across the Noosa region to pick up over 6 tonnes of other people’s rubbish as part of Clean Up Australia Day, organised once again by the Noosa Integrated Catchment Association (NICA) with showers impacting on volunteer numbers at some sites. 24 sites were registered where volunteers jumped into boats and vehicles, or walked the lengths and breadths of Noosa’s bushland, parkland, road reserves, creeks to Clean Up our region.
