Following an Expression of Interest campaign, NICA is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Juanita Terry-Bloomfield and Mr John Olds to the Management Committee of NICA. Juanita is Head of Tourism Sustainability and Program Design for Tourism Noosa and a long-time advocate of the work of NICA in the community, John is Principal Conservation Officer within the Ecological Assessment Unit of the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and has an extensive background in adaptive resource management across Queensland. Both are long-time and passionate residents of the Noosa region.
Juanita and John join continuing Management Committee members, Dr Jan Green (President), Richard Howard (Treasurer), Bruce Charlesworth and Angela Van Boxtel. Gill Studdock continues in the key role of Secretary. NICA looks forward to providing further updates on our programs and initiatives shortly.
