As part of the recent Wildflower Festival 18 people to enjoyed a walk admiring the wildflowers and learning about the fight to save Marcus Beach high dunes in the 1990s.

As part of this Tread Lightly event participants learnt about the early settlers’ histories and their uses of the 7 islands. Other topics discussed included the wildlife of the Noosa River.
