Let’s Clean Up Noosa 2025

Clean-Up Australia Day is Sunday 2nd March this year and once again the whole of the Noosa community is encouraged to help remove any litter and rubbish from our parks and streets, waterways, wetlands and along the foreshores and beaches of our beautiful region.

Volunteers Needed - We are needing some regular volunteers who are available around 2-4 hours a month to fill a few roles. Volunteers work in teams of 2 or 3 and will have the option to do either land-based (Creeks in Tewantin, Eenie Creek) or water-based testing (in Noosa River) and/or some data entry.

What’s Flowering in December

Quite a few Noosa native plants are flowering and of interest this December and these Plant Sheets detail the more obvious ones. Local gardeners are adding more and more local plants to their gardens and the wildlife is feeling right at home. Urban gardens, council landscaping and surrounding bushland provide links that encourage Noosa's natural look.
