A Walk on the Wildside at Girraween Nature Reserve

As one of the milestones for their Community Sustainability Action Grant, the NICA Girraween Bushcare Group held it’s ‘Walk on the Wildside’ event on Friday 24^th August.   19 people went on the walk through the Girraween Nature Refuge and the experienced guides pointed out many interesting birds and the wide variety of vegetation, with many wildflowers still blooming, despite the warm winter.
