From Tuesday 8 September until 11 October, photographs and artwork will catch the eye of library-goers at Wallace Park, Noosaville. The focus is on the delights of gardening with local native plants and the wildlife that visits them. The theme will be: “Begin with a Birdbath”.
Artwork will include:
- Paintings by Susanne Bloomfield, Michele Knightley, Dale Leach and Fiona Groom
- Fabric art interpretation by Stephanie Haslam
- Found garden treasures in the cabinet
- Joan Heavey’s wildlife visitors
Plus, there will be a slide show of local gardens. Robert Price, Shaun Walsh, Moira Maclachlan, Cheryl Bean and others have allowed us to share their ideas for landscaping in harmony with Noosa’s natural environment. Urban Wildlife Gardeners are urged to visit the library and enjoy the creative side of gardening, tell their friends and promote the program.
