Have you noticed all the stamens dropping from the eucalypts.  It seems to have been ankle deep out here where I live among the gum trees and it made me think it was time we had an article about MULCH.

In the natural scheme of things vegetation communities provide their own mulch: dead leaves, animal droppings, twigs, fallen flowers, fruit, branches etc. In a garden, particularly a new one, we need to help things along.

MULCH is a very important subject for people who want to grow plants

I’ve found these websites that give a good overview.  Please read them to see how MULCH can be incorporated in urban wildlife gardens.
