Come along and hear from local graduate environmental scientist, Angus Warfield, who has published a paper on his research into the mangroves of the Weyba Creek Conservation Park using drone technology. He’s currently completing his Honours project monitoring the recovery of cyclone damaged mangroves on Hitchinbrook Island. It will be fascinating to hear about his experience of using drones for environmental monitoring.
