Urban Wildlife Gardens is a team effort. Most of our members know me from the garden visits, but the program is run by a great team of passionate people. I would like to introduce them to you.

From left to right in the photo:

Tony – Secretary and Treasurer

Tony helps out in many areas of UWG including grant applications, bookkeeping, setting up workshops and keeping us all on track during meetings.

Vanessa – Promotions Coordinator

Vanessa’s role includes collating and proofreading the newsletter articles, filming and editing videos and taking photos at workshops and other events.

Kay

Kay has been with UWG from the start. She is always putting her hand up for any jobs that need doing and is a whiz with morning teas.

Keron

Keron can be counted on to be at all the UWG meetings and gives great input to program discussions. She works alongside Kay to put on the morning teas at our workshops.

Stephanie – Facebook Administrator

Stephanie should need no introduction. Her dedication to environmental education in the Noosa Shire has spanned decades. The UWG program is her baby. She is constantly updating the Facebook page and bringing new ideas to the program.

Shaun – Chairperson

Shaun has been very involved in all areas of the program this year and has delivered and organised some great workshops.

All members of the working group write articles for the newsletter.

I would like to thank them for giving lots of time and energy to UWG. Their enthusiasm is to be commended and the program would not be the success it is without every single one of them.

Thank you
