On Monday November 13, the UWG subcommittee attended the presentation function at the Cooroy RSL Club to receive their community donation. The money will go towards the creation of a new tailored website for UWG members and other local residents, to share information on native gardening to encourage wildlife in suburban areas.
It was interesting to see all the other wonderful community groups receive their donations and hear about the work they do to support local residents in various ways. We also enjoyed the refreshments kindly provided by the RSL.
Urban Wildlife Gardens would like to recognise the great work of Cooroy RSL in supporting the local community and thank them for their generous donation.
