We are thrilled to extend our warmest congratulations to Stephanie Haslam on being a recipient of a 2023 Noosa Electorate Queensland Day Award.
Stephanie’s journey as an environmental volunteer has been truly inspiring. She has been involved in various environmental conservation organisations in the Noosa District since arriving in the area in 1994.
Stephanie is also the author of Noosa’s Native Plants and Co-author of various other publications relating to the flora of the Noosa District. Her most recent publication ‘What’s in your Garden – Noosa’s Native Plants and Wildlife’ is a Handbook that will be invaluable to all who want to create an urban garden for local wildlife.
Stephanie’s vision and consequent formation of Urban Wildlife Gardens is an initiative that inspires others to get involved and make a difference, in turn making our community a better place for present and future generations.
On behalf of the UWG Subcommittee we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for Stephanie’s incredible efforts and unwavering contribution to the environment over many years.
