So that we could thank all our Bushcare volunteers, we held a BBQ at the Dolphins Rugby Club on Friday 17th June.

Both the Girraween Bushcare Group, and those who are helping to propagate the swamp stringybark (Eucalyptus conglomerate) were provided with a 3 course luncheon and liquid refreshments.

Thanks to the Dolphins Rugby Club for providing a great venue, and to Jill and Justin for not only organising the food and drink, but for writing the successful grant applications a few years ago.

These projects have been funded by a Federal Govt ‘Recover and Rebuild Resilience for Flora and Fauna’ grant at Girraween and a Qld Govt ‘Protecting Qld’s Threatened Species’ for the Eucalyptus conglomerata project.

Long may we continue the battle
