This delightful children’s book raises awareness of the plight of the vulnerable Glossy Black Cockatoo. Written by Catherine Chung and Kim DeVantier and illustrated by Noosa artist Suzanne Bloomfield.   A beautifully presented environmental awareness raising book for children of all ages.  This book is a celebration of the beauty of Australia’s native flora and fauna and a reminder of their fragility.

The book is dedicated  to Noosa locals Isobel Pert and Bob Carey who have devoted decades to observing the Glossy Black-Cockatoos, protecting their habitats and educating the public about them.
