Look Like Noosa – Display at Floating Land by Stephanie Haslam
During this year’s Floating Land event at Boreen Point Stephanie Haslam will present a display of items such as bags, hats, cushions, etc. made from fabric she has designed. Each item is accompanied by a tag giving the name of the featured local native plant.
The display is from 2nd to 5th October.
The display, under the title ‘Look Like Noosa’ gives an overview of her journey with Noosa’s Native Plants, from publication of her field guide, compilation of the website www.noosasnativeplants.com plus the Surface Design project involving community artists.
NICA funded the printing of the fabric and the items are for sale to raise funds for NICA’s education projects.
