On Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th June NICA assisted with a two day Good Shepherd Lutheran College excursion for 57 year 7 students. On Monday NICA volunteers and Marcus Beach Bushcare Group assisted with a Waterways excursion at Peregian Creek for Good Shepherd Lutheran College. On Tuesday at Heritage Park, Tewantin an impressive 6 cubic metres of weeds were removed. The students planted 100 plants and learnt about water quality testing. The students were hosted by NICA and Heritage Park Bushland Care Group.
